

How it works:

The intake process is completed over the first two sessions. I will ask questions like where you were born, how many siblings you have, what challenges you currently experience.

The third session is when goal-planning happens; I take the info you share in our first couple of meetings and build a plan to meet your goals. We use this plan as a guide for our work and look back to it every few months to see what we have finished and what we want to focus on next.

In the beginning, I will share information related to the challenges or struggles you may be experiencing. Sessions may feel like casual conversations, but we will always relate them back to your obstacles and goals.

Homework is sometimes given, but it is not mandatory and can be eliminated if not helpful for the client.
